A large hollow conical insulator. The drawing gives its maximum solid-envelope dimensions and subsequent cut location, with white glaze specified on the marked internal and external tapers.

Technical Requirements
- Apply white glaze to the surfaces marked with double-dot chain lines, namely the internal and external tapers.
- Using the small-end face as the datum, cut 680 mm from that end and grind a 5° bevel.
- The designated machined surface follows the roughness annotation of 1.6.
- Φ600×810 describes the maximum solid envelope, not the dimensions of the finished part after cutting.
- Drawing title-block data: maximum solid-envelope volume 228906 cm³; blank weight approximately 168 kg.
